A few things to know.
A little preparation goes a long way. Choose a map, let its files download, and get comfortable with the controls.
All questionsIs this the original Black Ops Zombies?
This local site opens the existing WebAssembly browser port of the original game engine and maps. The browser port comes from vel.gg, and the local runtime was restored from VinceGuyMan’s preservation archive. This site is an independent navigation and guide layer.
Can I play on my phone?
The map guides and website work on a phone. The original browser runtime requires a desktop keyboard and mouse and rejects mobile devices; touch gameplay is not available.
Why does the first launch take time?
The selected map needs real game files, rather than a small recreated minigame. The download checks their integrity, then prepares the engine. A first download and engine preparation are separate steps; time depends on your connection, browser, and hardware.
Will I have to download the map again?
The runtime can keep verified map files in browser storage. If that storage remains available, a later visit can reuse them. Clearing site data, changing browsers, or storage eviction may require another download.
