How to get to the computer
- Go to the main menu, where your character is strapped to a chair.
- Break free by pressing the two buttons below for your platform again and again until the camera turns.
- Walk to the computer in the back corner of the room and interact with it. Type on the on-screen keyboard; it only writes capital letters, and the codes work in capitals.

The codes most people want
One source says 3ARC UNLOCK stops the Stand Down achievement (finishing the campaign) from unlocking. We found no second source, so if you care about that achievement, finish the campaign first.

Dreamland server logins
Type RLOGIN DREAMLAND first, then log in with one of these. The Dreamland files contain Area 51 and UFO material, including text and pictures tied to the Zombies story.

How to unlock “Five” and Dead Ops Arcade
- “Five”: finish the last campaign mission, Redemption, on any difficulty — or type 3ARC UNLOCK.
- Dead Ops Arcade: type DOA or 3ARC UNLOCK at the computer. Finishing the campaign does not unlock it.
- Both stay unlocked once you have done this.
What Dead Ops Arcade is
Dead Ops Arcade is a top-down, twin-stick arcade shooter hidden in the Black Ops 1 computer. It is a separate mode, not a regular Zombies map. Playing it earns the Insert Coin achievement / trophy. Later games added sequels such as Dead Ops Arcade 2, 3 and 4; this page is only about the original.
The Zork Easter egg
Type ZORK (or HELLO SAILOR) to play Zork I: The Great Underground Empire, the Infocom text adventure from the early 1980s, inside Black Ops. It supports SAVE and RESTORE. Playing it earns the Eaten by a Grue achievement / trophy.
Are there cheat codes for Black Ops 1 Zombies?
No button-combination cheat codes exist. The terminal codes 3ARC UNLOCK and 3ARC INTEL are the closest thing, and they only unlock modes, missions and intel. They do not give god mode, points or weapons in Zombies.
PC players talk about developer console commands, but they need edited configuration files, and we found no reliable source on whether they are allowed online. We do not list them.
Do the codes work on the PS4 and PS5 port?
Yes. The July 2026 PS4/PS5 port keeps the main-menu computer: alternate L2 and R2, press Square at the computer and type 3ARC UNLOCK or DOA. Its trophy list still includes Insert Coin and Eaten by a Grue. Checked on 2026-10-24.
