Browser port status (checked October 24, 2026)

The browser version people search for as “vel.gg/bo1z” is an unofficial, fan-made port of Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) Zombies. Activision and Treyarch are not involved, and this website is not connected to it.

On October 24, 2026, our request to the old address vel.gg/bo1z returned HTTP 451, a status that servers use for content withheld for legal reasons. The same day, the vel.gg home page redirected to vel.gg/bsz and showed a map-select screen for the ten Black Ops maps. Results can differ by country and can change at any time.

Before you open it

  • Use a desktop or laptop with a keyboard and mouse. The port has no touch controls.
  • Use a current Chrome, Edge or Firefox with hardware acceleration turned on.
  • Each map is a large first download. Our archived manifests put compressed map data at about 271–386 MiB per map, before the engine.
  • Expect solo play. No working lobby or co-op mode has been verified for the browser port.
  • Never install a “launcher”, browser extension or “unblocked” mirror to reach it. The port runs in a browser tab and needs no download from another site.
  • The port uses Activision’s game assets without an official license, so it can disappear without notice.

Common questions

vel.gg/bo1z is not working. Can I fix it? If the address returns an error such as 451 where you live, no browser setting will change that. Avoid “unblocked” mirrors and downloaded launchers; they can carry malware. The official versions above are the reliable option.

Can I play on my phone? Not with the browser port, which needs a desktop keyboard and mouse. Our map guides work on a phone.

Can I play with friends? The browser port is solo. For co-op Zombies, use the PS5/PS4 port, the Steam version or Plutonium, each with its own online rules.

Does this site host the game? No. We stopped hosting game files while distribution rights are unresolved. This site provides guides and help only.
