01 / LEARN THE LOOP

Move. Level up.
Make another choice.

PokeBonk is Charcher’s unofficial 3D survivor fan game. Move through the arena while your attacks work, collect experience, and choose from the upgrades offered during the run. Megabonk is an inspiration; this is a separate Pokémon fan project.

The original menu currently offers Classic and Survival / Endless. Start by learning your partner and the available settings, rather than changing every option at once.

  1. 01 / ARRIVE

    Guest → first partner

Open the Guest tab and choose “Play as a guest!”. Pick a starter and confirm your choice. The other two have their own unlock challenges.

  2. 02 / PREPARE

    Read your run setup

Choose Play or Survival in the original menu. Check your available League member, region and difficulty before starting.

  3. 03 / PAY ATTENTION

    Keep an escape route

Move around the terrain, collect experience when the route is clear, and read each upgrade. Use pause to inspect your kit when you need more time.

02 / CHOOSE YOUR FIRST PARTNER

Three starts.
Your way to survive.

Looking for the best starter or a tier list? Start with the role you want to learn. These are verified starting kits, not a tested power ranking.

#001 / Grass / Poison

Recovery

Bulbasaur

Starting attack
Vine Whip
Passive
Synthesis

Its passive supports healing and regeneration. Consider it if you want recovery built into your first partner; keep an escape route instead of relying on healing alone.

#004 / Fire

Damage

Charmander

Starting attack
Ember
Passive
Sea of Flames

Its passive boosts Fire damage and adds damage at low health. The low-health bonus is a tradeoff to understand, not a reason to deliberately take hits.

#007 / Water

Defense

Squirtle

Starting attack
Water Gun
Passive
Torrent Shell

Its passive adds armor and a shield, with a low-health damage bonus. It gives you a defensive starting point while you learn movement and the upgrade screen.

Starter cards checked in the original game on 21 October 2026. Read today’s tooltips for current values; balance can change between releases.

03 / GIVE EACH UPGRADE A PURPOSE

Build for the run
you are actually in.

A strong build starts with understanding what an upgrade changes. An old video or a similarly named game may use different rules.

BUILD NOTE / 01

Make your opening move count

Read the attack your partner starts with. Compare the offered damage, area, cooldown and extra effects before adding another move. A build should solve the problem in front of you, rather than follow a tier list from another patch.

ASK YOURSELF

Can you collect experience without enemies closing every exit?

BUILD NOTE / 02

Keep room to survive

Match your next choice to what is ending the run: crowd pressure, lost health or difficulty moving around the terrain. Read recovery and defensive effects alongside damage. Pause when you need time to inspect your current kit.

ASK YOURSELF

Does the upgrade help you recover, escape or clear a path?

BUILD NOTE / 03

Use the Lab deliberately

Between runs, compare permanent stats with extra slots and offer-management tools. Refresh changes the choices, Skip passes an upgrade, and Banish removes an option for that run. Check the current costs before spending Stardust.

ASK YOURSELF

Are you buying a useful option, or simply the next cheap upgrade?

Moves, vitamins, items — and the Lab.

Inspect your current move and upgrade descriptions before assuming two effects combine. The Lab has permanent stat upgrades, run tools and a separate Items section. An item appearing in its pool is different from already owning that item in a run. Costs and unlock requirements belong to the current game; no universal purchase order is claimed here.

04 / GROW YOUR LEAGUE

Evolving a partner
is only part of the story.

Check the selected partner’s profile for its current evolution chain and requirements. Evolving during a run and unlocking another League member are different steps.

IN A RUN

Different game. Different levels.

The current client calculates its own in-run evolution levels. A familiar Pokémon does not mean its main-series level or item requirement applies here.

BETWEEN RUNS

Challenge → encounter → capture

The starter-selection screen explains that the other starters become available through their challenges and capture in a run. The checked starter challenges list two completed runs, won or lost. Inspect the locked entry for your current progress.

05 / PICK YOUR SCREEN

In your browser.
Without an installer.

Searches for a PokeBonk download, APK or app can lead to unrelated wrappers. The creator distributes this game through pokebonk.com.

DESKTOP

Keyboard & mouse

Use a current browser with JavaScript and WebGL. Fullscreen gives you more room; click inside the game before using the controls.

PHONE & TABLET

Try landscape

The client includes a touch layout. Open the original site directly and use its on-screen controls. Performance and compatibility depend on your device; no physical mobile gameplay test is claimed here.

DOWNLOAD & APK

Use the original host

The original project says there is no game download or app-store distribution. A third-party wrapper is not an official release by Charcher.

Open original game ↗
Keep your progress in the right place.

The original service saves guest progress on its server and associates it with your device’s session. Frame storage may differ from a direct tab. Use the original game’s Save to account option before clearing data or moving devices; this page has no access to your credentials or save.

06 / GET BACK TO THE FOREST

PokeBonk
not loading?

Start with what you see. A graphics error, a blocked connection and a separate guest session need different fixes.

Not checked. This local check sends no report and does not load the game.

Try the original tab ↗
The embedded screen is blank or the login does not stick

Open pokebonk.com directly in a new tab. Browser privacy protections can separate an embedded site’s storage from the original tab, so the two views may not share the same guest session. Keep the direct tab for important progress.

The game says WebGL is unavailable

Try the local WebGL check below, update your browser and graphics driver, and check whether hardware acceleration is available in browser settings. A work or school device may restrict graphics features. The original game needs JavaScript and WebGL.

Loading stalls or a graphic keeps retrying

Let the original page finish requesting its resources, then use its Retry control if one is offered. Check your connection and whether a network filter is blocking the game host. Opening the original tab is a useful comparison before changing browser settings.

The frame is too small or controls are awkward

Use the player’s Fullscreen button. On a phone, try landscape and the original game’s own touch interface. On desktop, click inside the game before using its controls. Leave fullscreen with Esc when the browser allows it.

Progress looks different after switching browser or device

Guest progress is saved by the original service and associated with the device’s session. An embedded frame may have different storage. Check the original game’s Save to account option before clearing site data or moving to another device; this guide cannot recover or transfer your save.

CHECK THE NAME. CHECK THE HOST.

One guide.
The right PokeBonk.

Google can show other PokeBonk projects, Pokesurvivor results and guides for different releases together. This page’s player always connects to pokebonk.com, the game by Charcher. Check the creator before following multiplayer claims or build recipes.

07 / THE QUICK ANSWERS

PokeBonk FAQ

Free play, starters, evolution, saves, mobile and the original project.

What is PokeBonk?

PokeBonk, styled PokéBonk, is Charcher’s free, unofficial Pokémon-inspired 3D survivor game at pokebonk.com. You move through enemy hordes, gain experience and choose upgrades. This page is an independent guide with an optional original-site player.

Where can I play PokeBonk online?

Use the player near the top of this page or open pokebonk.com directly. The embedded player connects to the original host only after you press Play. Use the direct tab if the frame, login or storage does not work in your browser.

Is PokeBonk free, and do I need an account?

The original game offers a free Guest option. Its entry screen says guest progress is saved on the server and tied to your device. You can later use its Save to account option; features such as the competitive leaderboard and clans need an account.

What is the best PokeBonk starter?

There is no tested universal winner in this guide. Bulbasaur begins with Vine Whip and a healing-focused Synthesis passive; Charmander has Ember and a Fire-damage passive; Squirtle has Water Gun, armor and a shield. Choose the role you want to learn, then read the current in-game tooltips.

How do I evolve or unlock more Pokémon?

In the client checked for Beta v0.7.10, the starter chains first evolve at run level 24. The final evolution is level 41 for Venusaur, or 44 for Charizard and Blastoise. These values were checked in the client and data, not through completed evolution runs. Other League members have separate unlock challenges and capture requirements; inspect their current profiles after updates.

What should I upgrade in the Lab?

The Lab spends Stardust on permanent stats, extra slots and run tools, and has a separate Items section. Compare the effect and price with the problems in your last run. This page explains the choices rather than claiming an untested best purchase order for every patch.

Is there a PokeBonk download, APK or Steam version?

The original project says it is distributed through its website, without a game download or app-store release. You can play in a compatible browser. A similarly named APK or app wrapper is not evidence of an official release by Charcher.

Can I play PokeBonk on mobile?

The current client includes a touch layout, and its entry page is configured for mobile browsers. Try landscape and fullscreen on the original site. Graphics support, available memory and browser restrictions still matter. No physical iPhone or Android gameplay test is claimed here.

Is PokeBonk the same as Pokey Survivors or every other PokeBonk result?

Check the host and author. This page always links Charcher’s game at pokebonk.com. Searches also surface similarly named projects, including a different game described by Touchzada. Do not transfer another project’s multiplayer modes, evolution recipes or controls to this version.

Was PokeBonk made with AI?

The creator’s legal page lists image/audio-generation tools and Blender among the tools for environments and other project assets. It separately credits PMD SpriteCollab and PokeAPI for other resources. Those credits describe asset sources; they do not establish that the entire game was generated by AI.

Where are the latest updates and community help?

Use the version button in the original game to read its update notes and follow the Discord linked by the creator. This page checked the Guest, starter and Lab menus on 21 October 2026 and observed Beta v0.7.10. Menu checks are not a completed gameplay or balance test.
