Every BO1 Zombies Easter egg song
This table covers original Black Ops 1, including its World at War map ports. “No explicit power prerequisite stated” reports a source limit, not proof that every route can be completed with power off. Song items are separate from story-quest items.

Nacht der Untoten song: Undone
Shoot the red explosive barrels outside, visible from the starting-room windows. The CoD Wiki’s Undone and map pages say three specific barrels; Call of Duty Zombies Wiki says all outside barrels. The exact count remains disputed here. Undone is a BO1 addition; do not import BO3’s 28-barrel checklist into this BO1 route.
Verrückt song: Lullaby of a Deadman
Go upstairs on the German side, to the toilet room near the STG-44 / Trench Gun and the power-room doorway. Flush the far-left toilet three times with Interact. The alternative title Lullaby for a Dead Man refers to the same song. The CoD Wiki alone notes that it is quiet because it is handled as a sound effect.
Shi No Numa song: The One
Find the telephone inside the Comm Room hut and use it three times. The Wikis do not consistently separate WaW and BO1 instructions, so carrying that three-use phone interaction into BO1 is an inference from their shared route description, not a new version-specific test.
Der Riese song: Beauty of Annihilation
Use three green brain / spine jars: a table at the foot of the Juggernog stairs in animal testing, the high shelf opposite it, and the table by the grenade blackboard in the small side room beside Teleporter B / Type 100. The Fly Trap bears and furnace monkey are different objects.
Kino der Toten song: 115
Hold Interact on the meteor fragments in the ground-floor lobby by the lower stairs, the dressing room near MP5K / mannequins, and the storage-room shelf between the alley and stage. Sources differ on the exact lobby pedestal and dressing-room table descriptions, but agree on those three rooms.
Five Easter egg song: Won’t Back Down
Use the three red phones: the Quick Revive desk in the boardroom, the laboratory power-room desk, and the Panic Room desk by the barrier. Power and four DEFCON switches are needed to reach the third. It is Eminem feat. P!nk, not Elena Siegman. GameRevolution and CoD Zombie describe ringing, flashing phones; the two wikis only describe interacting with them. Search the room landmarks rather than waiting for ringing.
Ascension Easter egg song: Abracadavre
Use the three sickle-holding teddy bears: spawn near Olympia (described as on a barrel or at the upper walkway end), behind the gate under the red star by the Stamin-Up lander, and on the wall by the Speed Cola lander. The first bear’s fine placement varies across references. BO1 red telephones play character dialogue; BO3’s additional phone-triggered song is a different version.
Call of the Dead song: Not Ready to Die
Use the meteor on the barrel by spawn water, the meteor on a booth seat in the ship’s dining room, and the meteor under the small table / nightstand in the PhD Flopper room beside the lighthouse. The detailed guide keeps the story quest separate.
Shangri-La Easter egg song: Pareidolia
Use the rubble fragment behind Quick Revive, the fragment by the bridge / moving-wall area after the mud maze, and the mine-area fragment after AK-74u. The Wiki describes the last in the broken wall opposite Semtex; Zombies Codex says the grenade-room outer platform, while Cyberly describes the waterside railing. These finer landmark differences remain unresolved.
Moon Easter egg song: Coming Home and four other tracks
Use the three helmeted bears: the red crate stack outside the Receiving Bay near the launch platform / color computers, the Tunnel 6-to-power airlock opposite the P.E.S. rack behind grating, and the Tunnel 11 wall opening opposite Stamin-Up.
- Credits follow the official Anthology Vol. 1 listing; the Call of Duty Zombies Wiki names Brian Tuey instead.
- The existing Moon guide gives the long quest steps and computer landmarks; music triggers do not establish story-quest completion.
| Additional music | BO1 interaction / source limits |
|---|---|
| Re-Damned — James McCawley | Use the lab computer beside the Bio-Dome doorway; heard locally. Only one independent trigger source, the CoD Wiki. |
| Nightmare — Avenged Sevenfold | Earn One Giant Leap in co-op. This is not a three-item solo song; the Wiki is the only independent trigger source found. |
| Coming Home 8-bit / Bit by Bit — James McCawley | Use computer equipment near the radio at the Tunnel 11 end by power. CoD Wiki’s general Easter Eggs page instead says Tunnel 6 and a disc; its Moon and song pages support direct Interact in Tunnel 11. |
| Pareidolia 8-bit / Pareidolia Bitz — James McCawley | Use the bottom-lab computer, described as the left corner when entering from power. The general Easter Eggs page’s disc prerequisite conflicts with the Moon / song pages’ direct Interact. |
Dead Ops Arcade has background music, not an item-triggered song
No “find three objects to play a hidden song” trigger was identified for original BO1 Dead Ops Arcade. Its background score includes music credited to James McCawley, Kevin Sherwood and Brian Tuey. The menu-terminal unlock is a separate secret.
BO1 Zombies songs: common questions
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Are all the songs by Elena Siegman? | No. Five uses Eminem feat. P!nk, Call of the Dead uses Avenged Sevenfold, and Nacht’s Undone is instrumental. |
| Can every track be triggered solo? | Do not assume that: Moon’s Nightmare is tied to a co-op achievement. No blanket solo claim is verified here for every listed music interaction. |
| Can a song play again in the same game? | The CoD Wiki’s Lullaby page states a once-per-game rule for Easter egg songs; only one independent source was found for the general rule. |
| Where can I listen or read the lyrics here? | This guide lists titles, credits and trigger references; it does not reproduce lyrics or audio. |
